Booking a Babysitter

If this is your first time booking a babysitter with Sitter Select, you need to complete our Family Application before being able to book a babysitter with us. Please click here to fill out the Family Application.

Please note there is a 3 hour minimum for all babysitting jobs.

Items to Remember

We have created terms and conditions to protect you as a family and to ensure you’re notified of important details of hiring a babysitter with Sitter Select. To see our full terms and conditions, click here.


Membership Fee: The annual membership fee will be invoiced the third time a family uses Sitter Select services. The annual membership is good for twelve months from the date of the third time your family uses Sitter Select services.

Cancellations: Minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation required.

Cancel A Sitter

Please note: If a sitter has been confirmed for you by a member of the Sitter Select team and cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours notice, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged. This also applies to inclement weather.

Payment Methods: All major credit cards and PayPal are acceptable methods of payment. Our terms are payment due in full within three business days from the sitting event. Monies that remain outstanding will incur a late fee of 2% per day until the outstanding balance is paid. We reserve the right to recover any monies remaining on outstanding balances over 30 days with Small Claims Court. In such circumstances you will be responsible for any and all additional fees and or court costs.

Cash is only exchanged if you are tipping your sitter or providing cab fare.

Gratuity: Gratuities, while appreciated by the sitters, are not required and can be given at the discretion of the family.
